OUR HERITAGE

Under the umbrella of the Fauji Group of Companies, with major shareholding by FFBL – Fauji Foods Limited was founded in 2015 after the acquisition of Noon Pakistan Limited, a company with an over 50-year dairy legacy in Pakistan.

In February 2016, Fauji Foods introduced a new brand for the masses by the name of Dostea. Dostea is a liquid tea whitener which renders the perfect taste and colour you require from your daily cup of tea.

Founded in 1966, the Company’s brand Nurpur has been a household name across generations. After the acquisition, Fauji Foods relaunched the House of Nurpur in May 2016, thus reviving an age-old tradition of wholesome quality.

The House of Nurpur, renowned for its Butter in Pakistan is also gaining traction across its consumer base for other wholesome additions to its product range.

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Usman Zaheer Ahmad has joined as Chief Executive Officer – Fauji Foods Ltd. with effect from March 01, 2022. He is an experienced senior executive with a strong corporate, commercial and operational track record spanning over two decades in local and international markets. He possesses an MBA degree from IBA, University of the Punjab.

Usman has strong leadership credentials. An influential and decisive leader who brings with him diversified experience in delivering strong growth and profitability through business. He has achieved exceptional successes in his career by striking a perfect balance between business delivery and his passion for people development.

Known for his unique ability to identify growth possibilities, he has steadily delivered strong business results in every market and on every business, aided via his deep experience of growing brands locally, and globally, together with his passion for brand building. His result-oriented approach and ability to connect up and down the organization will be a driving force for Fauji Foods in years to come.

Mr. Waseem Haider

Chief Financial Officer

Waseem Haider Joined as CFO of FFL in June 2022. He is a fellow of CIMA UK and brings over 27 years of diverse work experience in Finance & related areas.
Mr. Waseem has worked in blue chips locally in Pakistan as well as has significant international exposure from MENA and Oceania region. He is a strong performer with ability to lead large teams. His core areas include Business Strategy, Turnaround, Business Restructuring, Planning, Product costing, Treasury Management & Problem Solving. He has also managed IT, Supply Chain and other shared services. Waseem brings with him strategic leadership, decision making/problem solving & interpersonal & communication skills. Mr. Waseem is a change agent with the capability to work closely at all levels to deliver the required results. He has a track record of adding long term value, prioritizing decisions, and driving agile and data driven transformations with in-depth business expertise and experience across a wide range business areas.

Mr. Khurram Javaid has joined FFL as Head Marketing with effect from November 02, 2020. He holds a degree of MBA – Marketing from Institute of Management Sciences, Lahore. His career spans over two decades in the field of Sales & Marketing. He has diversified experience of working at top managerial levels across the globe.

Prior to joining as Head Marketing – FFL, he was serving as Sales & Marketing Director, Myanmar at British American Tobacco. The company is pleased to have such a dynamic resource in its team & hope to achieve various milestones along the way.

Mr. Faisal Sheikh

Chief Human Resources Officer

Mr. Faisal Sheikh has joined FFL as Chief Human Resources Officer on Dec 27, 2021. A seasoned Human Resource Professional having more than two decades of rich experience of working at top managerial levels with great insight on organizational transformation & cultural change, business process re-engineering, organizational restructuring, capacity building and employer branding. He is an Engineering graduate from NED University of Engineering & Technology and has held various strategic positions with top local & multinational groups comprising of Ericsson, Descon Engineering, Fatima Group & Panasian Group. Mr. Sheikh is a visionary and a transformational leader that has enabled him to devise corporate HR strategies in line with business objectives with impeccable efficiency for the achievement of optimal outcomes. He also possesses extensive expertise in developing and implementing succession planning frameworks, leadership development, managing company’s talent pipeline and building an engaging workplace to aid in business sustainability & growth. His commitment to work & result oriented approach has made him a successful leader and enabled him to garner immense respect across business industries. Mr. Rao Muhammad Imran

Head R&D/Innovation, QA & Regulatory Affairs

Mr. Rao Muhammad Imran is an accomplished dairy R&D professional and certified food safety expert.

He is spearheading the R&D / Innovation, QA & Regulatory Affairs department at FFL. Mr. Imran has 18 years of diverse experience in Innovation, Total Quality Management and End-to-End Dairy Operations including processing, milk collection and food service departments. Prior to joining FFL, he has worked with Prime Yogurt-ROCCO Ice Cream and Haleeb Foods in Research & Development and Quality Assurance departments. Mr. Imran has also been at a forefront in developing exciting and successful brands during his successful career. He is also one of the pioneer employees of FFL who has played a key role in revamping of Fauji Food’s processes and product portfolio after the acquisition. He possesses an MSc degree in Chemistry from Faculty of Science, Engineering and Agriculture Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and has completed various management courses from LUMS.

Company Secretary

Brigadier Naveed Azam Cheema (Retired) joined Fauji Foods Limited as Company Secretary with effect from Jan 15, 2024. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and holds Masters’ as well as M.Phil degrees from National Defence University, Islamabad. He is also qualified in Defence Resource Management from USA.
Endowed with influential leadership attributes and planning skills, he is shaped up with rich experience of Command, Staff, Instructional and Human Resource Management during his three decades long service at premier Military and Civil Establishments; both inland and abroad. His services as a diplomat in Ukraine and intimate involvement with Defence Exports of Pakistan further enriched his personality. His expertise in handling international exhibitions were extremely valuable in successful conduct of IDEAS-22 as well as participation of Pakistan Defence industry in 25 international exhibitions around the globe.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hafiz Sajjad Hussain as Head Milk Collection & Agri Services with effect from Oct 31, 2022. Mr. Hussain brings with himself an almost two decades of rich dairy experience having worked with top organizations across the industry. He is one of the recognized Dairy Development & Milk Collection experts in Pakistan and has pioneered many leading initiatives in this field. A seasoned dairy professional possessing immaculate expertise in development of milk value chain leading towards achievement of commercial objectives for an organization while also managing sustainability concerns of livestock business in Pakistan.

Mr. Hussain is a graduate of University of Agriculture, Faisalabad having degree in MSc Hons. Agri Economics. His impressive academic forte as well as diverse professional background of working with public & private sectors has inculcated in-depth knowledge of dairy market dynamics in his personality which gives him an added perspective to deal with the market challenges with utmost competence. Prior to joining FFL, he had remained associated with Friesland Campina, Pakistan (Engro Foods Ltd.) as Field Operation Manager.

Mr. Muhammad Ifzal Akhtar joined FFL as Factory Manager with effect from December 02, 2019. He did his Chemical Engineering from University of Punjab and ECAM (Executive Certificate in Agricultural Management) from LUMS, Lahore. Prior to joining FFL, he worked at Nestlé Pakistan Ltd. as Factory Manager, Nestlé Kabirwala Factory and Head of Quality Management for Nestlé Pakistan and Nestlé Afghanistan for 9 years. Mr. Ifzal has an impressive career that spans over two decades, working on Nido, Every day, Lactogen, Cerelac, Milkpak, Nestlé Bunyad, Nestlé Butter, Nestlé Desi Ghee, Milo, Neslac and NAN.

Mr. Ifzal has developed and successfully implemented quality systems, which have been applauded and replicated around the world in Nestlé Factories. Not only have that but his exemplary dedication & commitment endeared him to his colleagues. FFL is pleased to have him on-board and together we hope to achieve new heights of success.

Lt. Col M. Babar Rashid (Retd)

Head Admin

Lt Col M. Babar Rashid is associated with Fauji Foods Limited as Head Admin. He became part of the group in Feb 2018 and since then has contributed efficiently towards the growth of the company. Lt Col Babar is a graduate of Pakistan Military Academy, University of Engineering & Technology and NUST. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) and is a Post Graduate in Telecom and Networking.

He has vast amount of experience to his credit due to twenty five years of service in Pakistan Army. Lt Col Babar has extensive knowledge of Engineering, Finance and Administration which adds to his impressive pedigree. A highly committed individual having impressive business acumen adds to a versatile FFL team. The group is pleased to have him on board and aim to achieve multiple future goals.

Abdul Rehman Butt

Head of Supply Chain

Abdul Rehman Butt is the Head of Supply Chain at Fauji Foods Limited. He joined FFL in September 2020 and assumed the role of Head of Procurement. Under his capable leadership, Fauji Foods’ Procurement function experienced a complete turnaround in a very short span of time with greater focus on people development, result delivery and value addition. Leveraging Abdul Rehman’s enriched Procurement and Supply Chain experience he was made part of Management Team in January 2021 and later took over the role of Head of Supply Chain in June 2022.

Abdul Rehman started his career as Supply Chain Management Trainee in 2010 with Packages Group, he served Packages Group in different roles within Supply Chain and in his last assignment he was leading the Procurement team for Direct Materials for Packages group.

In August 2016 he joined Nestle Pakistan as a Strategic Buyer for the Services and Indirect materials category and keeping in view his abilities in achieving various milestones by leading cross functional teams in June 2018, he was promoted to the position of Procurement Manager Operations which included Imports and Export operations for Pakistan and Afghanistan markets.

Abdul Rehman is an Economics graduate from Forman Christian College Lahore and has completed several management certifications from Lahore University of Management Sciences.

With nearly four decades of distinguished military service, Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retired) brings consummate skill and experience in planning, organization and administration to his present assignment. Throughout his distinguished career he held prestigious positions in various command, staff and instructional roles, culminating in the position of Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff as Adjutant General of Pakistan Army. A role in which he provided leadership and spearheaded several important welfare initiatives and large-scale commercial projects at the Army and national level, including strategizing the development and growth of Fauji Foundation Companies and serving as the Chairman of Army Welfare Trust.


His extensive experience in Pakistan Army includes noteworthy contributions in planning and development of Defence Housing Authorities (DHAs) all over the country and supervising development and management of countrywide mega housing projects such as Askari Housing Colonies.

He also had the distinctive opportunity of making contributions in the academic domain as President National Defence University and as member of the Board of Governors of NUST, NUMS and NUTECH.


Transitioning seamlessly into civilian leadership role, Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retired) assumed the chairmanship of Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) and played an important role in the interim Federal Cabinet as the Caretaker Minister for Defence and Defence Production. He also served as a member of the Apex Committee of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), where he made multifaceted contributions to national economic growth initiatives and in the process remained engaged with several public and private sector entities and multinational organizations.


His strategic prowess and commitment to excellence is complimented by his professional and academic qualifications, which include Masters in Strategic Studies from United States Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and MSc in War Studies from National Defence University, Islamabad. His dedication to duty and meritorious services in Pakistan Army were duly recognized through conferment of the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card and the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) by the President of Pakistan.

THE FAUJI GROUP

Founded in 1954 under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890 as a Charitable Trust, the group was purposed to help provide welfare for ex-servicemen as well as their dependents.

Starting off as a humble venture, today, the Fauji Foundation runs more than 18 industries. 80 percent of the generated income from its business ventures is used for welfare activities in the fields of health care, employment, education, and activities at various training centers – serving roughly 9 million beneficiaries (5% of the country’s population) nationwide.

Currently the foundation operates 115 Medical Facilities, 100 Schools & Colleges, 65 Vocational Training Centers and 9 Technical Training Centers across the country.
